Child Safety Standards Policy (Vibest)
Vibest is committed to providing a safe environment for all users and to complying with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards, as well as applicable child and youth protection laws in Germany.
1. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
Vibest has a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualization of minors, or any behavior that endangers children.
Content or behavior that involves, depicts, or facilitates CSAE is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the competent law enforcement and child protection authorities, such as police and relevant authorities in Germany or other jurisdictions.
2. Prohibited content and behavior involving minors
The following content and behavior are not allowed on Vibest:
- Any sexual content, nudity, or sexualization involving real children or young-looking persons.
- Sexual comments, flirting, grooming, or attempts to establish sexual contact with minors.
- Sharing, requesting, or trading of images, videos, or other material depicting minors in sexual or exploitative situations.
- Encouraging or instructing minors to engage in self-harm, dangerous activities, or illegal acts.
- Doxxing, bullying, harassment, or other behavior that could endanger a child’s physical or mental well-being.
3. Reporting and response
- Users can report suspicious or harmful content or behavior involving children directly in the app or by contacting us at support@vibest.co.
- We review child-safety-related reports with high priority and may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and preserve and share information with competent authorities when legally required or to protect children from harm.
- Where necessary, we cooperate with law enforcement and recognized child protection organizations in Germany and internationally, in line with applicable data protection and youth protection laws.
4. Age limitations and youth protection
- Vibest is not directed at children and is intended only for users who have reached the minimum age required to use such services under the laws of their country. In Germany, this generally means that users must at least be adolescents with legal capacity to consent to the service under applicable law; younger children must not use Vibest.
- We may implement age-gating, self-declaration, and other reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent underage users from accessing features that are not appropriate for minors, in line with German youth media protection rules and EU requirements.
- Where our services may be accessible to minors, we aim to provide age-appropriate default settings, to avoid profiling for advertising based on children’s data, and to follow relevant requirements for parental involvement, where applicable.
5. Data protection and children’s privacy
- Vibest does not knowingly collect personal data from children who are not allowed to use the service under applicable law. If we discover that an ineligible child has created an account, we will take steps to delete the account and associated data as appropriate.
- For any processing of personal data, Vibest complies with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant German rules, and where relevant will obtain parental or guardian consent if the law requires it for minors of a certain age.
6. Moderation, detection, and cooperation with authorities
- Vibest uses a combination of manual review and technical measures (where applicable) to detect and remove content and behavior that may harm children, in line with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards and applicable German youth protection obligations.
- Where legally permissible, we may use hashing or similar technologies to detect known child sexual abuse material and to prevent its re-upload.
- We may preserve and provide relevant account information, logs, and content to law enforcement or other competent bodies when we are legally obliged to do so or when necessary to protect vital interests of children.
7. Training, compliance, and updates
- Our internal teams are trained to recognize and handle child safety issues and to escalate serious cases promptly and appropriately.
- We periodically review and update this policy to reflect changes to Google Play policies, German youth protection law, and other applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
